Built for the moments nobody schedules.
Drew grew up around a small family tennis club in Brevard, North Carolina, where matches routinely turned into entire afternoons: adults stayed around talking, kids invented games, families ate together. Nobody scheduled the extra time. It simply happened. That experience shaped how Drew thought about sports and community. The game might bring people together, but the relationships were what made them stay.
Jim came from the hospitality side. His career in restaurants taught him that the best places aren't simply about what's on the menu. They're about how people feel when they walk through the door, how they're treated, and whether the experience makes them want to stay.
One came from sports. One came from hospitality. Both believed the same thing: the best places give people reasons to spend more time together.
So they built Pickle Yard. Not as a pickleball facility with a restaurant attached. Not as a restaurant with courts attached. But as a place where sports, food, hospitality and community naturally overlap: a place they wanted for their own families and friends, and hopefully, a place that feels a little like yours too.
Leisure Beyond Measure
We believe leisure shouldn't be something squeezed into whatever time is left. At Pickle Yard, we create space for people to play, laugh, eat, compete, connect, and stay a little longer than they planned, because the moments worth remembering usually aren't measured in points, minutes, or reservations. They're measured in who you shared them with.
We created Pickle Yard to give people more reasons to spend real time together. Sports may start the conversation. Food may extend it. But connection is the point. We build the moments nobody schedules.

Pickle Yard doesn't fit neatly into one category. You can play a serious pickleball match here, or meet friends for dinner without playing anything. You can spend an afternoon with your kids, join a league, celebrate a birthday, try padel, play golf, dance, compete, or just sit around longer than you meant to.
That's what we mean by a social sports club. The activities bring people together. The experience keeps them together.
