    Designed for older juniors who are ready to take the next step, this clinic focuses on developing real skills and understanding how to use them in match play.
    We’ll work on shot selection, court positioning, serves and returns, and how to build points with control and strategy—not just power. Sessions include a mix of instruction, drills, and guided play to help players improve and apply what they’re learning.
    Great for players with some experience or those ready to move beyond the basics.

  • Senior Moments with Coach Terry Rhodes

    A skill-building session for players 55+ who want to keep improving and keep enjoying the game. We’ll work on smart court positioning, dinking patterns, serves/returns, and how to control the point using strategy—not speed.
    This session is designed for players who already have a basic understanding of the game and can sustain rallies.
    If you’re brand new, we recommend starting with one of our beginner-friendly sessions first—then coming back to this once you’re ready to build on those fundamentals.
    Come sharpen your game, stay active, and prove that “young at heart” is a real thing.

    Intermediate Clinic
    Week 1: Roll Volleys
    1. Proper paddle path and topspin generation
    2. Identifying attackable balls
    3. Roll volley placement (feet, hips, sidelines)
    4. Recovering and staying balanced after the attack
    Week 2: Transition Under Pressure
    1. Footwork through the transition zone
    2. Resetting hard-driven balls
    3. Choosing when to stop and hit versus moving through 4. Working forward as a doubles team
    Week 3: Lob Recovery
    1. Recognizing offensive vs. defensive lobs
    2. Footwork for tracking overhead lobs
    3. Communication between partners
    4. Recovering court position after the lob is returned
    Week 4: Return and 4th Shot
    1. Hitting deep, purposeful returns
    2. Moving to the kitchen after the return
    3. Fourth-shot decision making (drive, drop, or reset)
    4. Applying pressure on the serving team before they establish position You could then continue the progression:

    This open play session is designed for players from 3.0 - 3.9 level who want quality games in a relaxed , supportive environment. Expect balanced matchups, smooth rotations, and plenty of reps against players working on consistency, shot selection, and court awareness.
    Whether you’re newer to the game or still building confidence, this is a great aspect to compete, improve, and enjoy the social side of pickleball - without feeling rushed or outmatched.

    Take your offensive game to the next level by learning when and how to execute Ernes and Around-the-Post (ATP) shots. We'll cover setup, court awareness, and recognizing opportunities during live play.
    Week 3: Footwork & Court Movement
    Efficient footwork is the foundation of advanced pickleball. This session will focus on movement patterns, recovery steps, balance, and positioning to improve consistency and court coverage.
    Week 4: Overhead Pressure & Finishing Skills
